Marcellino stands on the very grounds of a beloved family home, once owned by Marcel, a retired Police Major, and devoted father to six children—five daughters and a son. His legacy of warmth, discipline, and deep-rooted family values continue to shape the essence of this boutique retreat.
The story of Marcellino Boutique Living began in 2017 when Marcel’s youngest son, Joseph, and his own son, Chris, embarked on a heartfelt journey to transform the family’s cherished residence into an intimate haven for travellers. Their vision was to preserve the home’s soul while curating an experience of comfort and elegance.
Building on their successful venture, Neolitik Kitchen and Lounge, which opened its doors in 2021, Joseph and Chris sought to expand their passion for hospitality. Thus, Marcellino was born—a name chosen to honour the man whose influence and presence shaped their lives. This boutique accommodation is more than just a place to stay; it is a homage to a father and grandfather whose spirit of generosity and resilience continues to inspire.
